2010 is fast shaping up to be another vibrant year for Marketing even as it took a cautious but optimistic stance at the onset of the year.
As was customary, 2010 was opened with the annual brokers’ conference meant to gather Stateland’s valued business partners. Money, money, money. That could have been the theme song or tagline of the occasion held last January 7, 2010 at The Century Seafood Restaurant in Malate, Manila. It was all about money as Stateland unveiled its 2010 incentive program for sellers wherein majority of incentives are in the form of cash: from outright promos to brokers and agents to its annual volume-based remuneration. Mr. Regan Uy and Ms. Jane Faderon, division head of Brokers’ Group and Central North Group, respectively, together with Ms. Sharon Yap of MRST, hosted the Deal or No Deal-themed event complete with its own version of 26K girls who sashayed down the stage as the promos were presented. Various items were raffled off, with lucky guests going home with appliances like LCD TV, refrigerator, washing machine, etc., calculators and wines.
February brought forth another sales milestone that illustrates Marketing Group’s positive attitude, perseverance and hardwork. By history a good month in terms of sales, sales personnel still sprung a surprise by generating a gross total sales that has not been seen in the same month in the company’s almost 34 years of operation, one that almost matched April 2009’s unprecedented sales accomplishment. The payment terms are also encouraging: spot cash transaction and several full downpayment accounts. Villa San Lorenzo, located in Anabu, Imus, Cavite, was the bestseller among the projects. Villa San Lorenzo is a Spanish-inspired four-hectare subdivision ideal for families who are looking for an idyllic and secured community that is within minutes of basic necessities like supermarket, malls, schools and church. If offers various 2-storey house options like single attached, single detached and townhouse. Floor area ranges from 65sqm to 92sq. Lot only options are also available for those who wish to purchase for investment.
Gran Seville, on the other hand welcomed an additional focus group, Laguna Sales Group, with Mr. Rogelio “Roger” Arcia as division head. Mr. Arcia brings with him a wealth of experience nurtured by years of successful stint in the real estate industry. His group will be working alongside Ms. Evelyn Licudine’s very dynamic GSV Focus Group.
This setup is complemented by a similar system in Cavite wherein Mr. Rogelio “Jun” Bañas Jr., who heads Cavite Focus Group, steers Chester Place to a new level of sales performance. Though these groups are tasked to focus on specific projects, they are not precluded from cross-selling other Stateland subdivisions.
As the summer season sets in, Marketing Group’s dynamism is as evident as ever. Preparations are already underway for a grand “palaro” for external sellers composed of brokers and authorized agents. Other activities like exhibits in various locations and site mannings go on. This will definitely be a sizzling summer for the sales personnel, albeit less time in the inviting pools and beaches.
Marketing Group continue to march on, matching the beat of the revitalized real estate industry after the challenges brought about by the global financial crisis.
